Who I am

I started playing drums at 14 and hit a plateau after about four years.

I still loved it, but grinding away without getting better slowly sucked the fun out of it. So I did what a lot of people do: I walked away from the kit for years.

THEN I CAME BACK. DEAD SET ON BREAKING THROUGH.

In my 20s I found myself back behind the drums, and that's when I stumbled onto a few techniques I'd never heard anyone talk about. Within a year they completely changed how I played. I could finally get the ideas in my head out onto the kit and keep up with almost any style of music.

I don't teach 8 weeks of theory. I teach the 3 things that actually moved the needle for me: hands, feet, and fills, plus the exercises and practice regimen that drill them in. That's it. That's the unlock.

The session

Everything I know, in one hour

I've boiled 25 years down to 3 core techniques and the exercises that drill them in: the stuff that took me years to find, that I've never seen another teacher break down. Most lessons bury this under weeks of warm-up. I just teach it to you.

Quick questions

How long and how much? +

One focused hour, one-on-one, one flat price: $100. You get all 3 techniques plus the exercises and practice regimen. Pay as you go, no packages, no contracts.

Is one session really enough? +

That's the whole point. I'm not teaching you 8 weeks of filler. I'm teaching you the 3 things that actually matter and the exercises and practice regimen to lock them in. You leave with everything you need to keep getting better on your own.

Do I need my own drum kit? +

Nope. There's a full kit waiting at the studio. We'll also sort out cheap, quiet ways to practice at home.

Can total beginners start here? +

Absolutely. Plenty of people show up having never held a stick. By the end of the hour, you'll be playing a real groove.
